Charlie advises clients on UK emerging policy and political issues with a particular focus on digital technology.
Before joining Flint, Charlie spent several years in the UK civil service, at the Department for International Trade, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the Ministry of Justice.
Most recently, Charlie was the lead negotiator for digital trade in the UK’s FTA with New Zealand. She also represented the UK at the WTO e-commerce negotiations.
Prior to this, Charlie worked on international data transfers where she developed the UK’s approach to assessing the adequacy of other countries’ data privacy frameworks.
