Katie oversees Flint’s policy and political analysis work. She is based in London and a director on Flint’s board.
She advises corporate clients in the tech and digital, transport and media sectors, and education providers. She also advises investors on the politics around mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Flint, she held senior policy and advisory roles in the UK civil service, including HM Treasury, the Cabinet Office and Department for Business. In that time she worked on three Budgets and two Spending Reviews, and in the private offices of five Cabinet Ministers from each of the three main political parties, advising on economic and social policy. In 2015, Katie established the UK National Infrastructure Commission for the Treasury as its first Chief of Staff.
Prior to joining the civil service, Katie worked for and wrote for the Sunday Times, Literary Review and New Statesman, and was an editor on the Oxonian Review.
