After six years, Rob made the move over to industry by joining the finance team of a private equity-backed recruitment business focusing on the technology and renewable energy sectors towards the end of 2024.

As part of his last role, Rob helped to professionalise and upskill the finance team following an acquisition by private equity investors. This included improving the monthly reporting processes as well as building new processes to assist the preparation of statutory accounts and completion of the external audit process
