Ewan has over seven years of experience in digital policy in Europe and Asia, working in London, Taipei, and now Singapore. He advises clients on political and policy issues across a range of sectors, with a particular emphasis on the tech sector.

Prior to joining Flint, Ewan worked in the UK government on developing the UK’s regulatory framework for online content through its Online Safety Act. He also represented the UK government on content regulation at the EU and UN and helped to establish the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT). At Flint, he has supported a wide range of technology companies in developing their strategies for engaging governments on emerging regulatory frameworks, encompassing online content, digital competition, privacy, data, and AI. He launched Flint’s AI-Pac newsletter on key AI policy developments around Asia-Pacific and has been invited to speak at industry forums on AI, digital infrastructure, content regulation, and online scams by the GSMA, Trust & Safety Professional Association (TSPA), and Eversheds Sutherland in Singapore, Seoul, and Manila.
