Profile

Pawee  is a Thailand specialist with a focus on financial services and technology. He is a Lecturer in Law at Thammat University, Thailand. He also serves as an Adviser to the Committee on Economic Development and the Sub-Committee on Strengthening Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at the National Assembly.

With over a decade of experience bridging the financial services industry and legal academia in both civil and common law jurisdictions, Pawee has advised on the complex regulatory dynamics of digital finance, Web3 technologies and crypto assets, as well as the integration of emerging tech solutions within financial institutions. His expertise also extends to data governance, data privacy, AI regulation and compliance frameworks.

Previously, Pawee was a Regulatory Specialist for the Digital Economy at the World Bank Group and a Project Consultant at the Electronic Transaction Development Agency of Thailand (ETDA) under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES).
