David is a Director at Flint. He helps clients anticipate and navigate political, policy and regulatory developments affecting their operations across Germany and the wider European market, with particular expertise in foreign and security policy, international affairs and geopolitical risk.

David brings first-hand experience of German policymaking. Before joining Flint, he advised Members of the German Bundestag on foreign affairs, international relations and public policy, including Germany’s relationships in the Gulf region. Working at the intersection of parliament, government ministries, diplomatic missions and industry, he developed a close understanding of how decisions are made in Berlin and how businesses can engage effectively as Germany’s foreign, security and economic policy evolves.

David holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics.
