Bhavini advises clients on policy and regulatory issues across international financial services, with a particular focus on the UK, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Flint, Bhavini spent seven years as an Economist at the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Payment Systems Regulator (PSR). She worked on a range of financial regulatory and policy issues across wholesale and retail markets, spanning both domestic and international policy and supervision. She led aspects of the FCA’s Wholesale Data Market Study and designed a randomised controlled trial to test behaviorally informed interventions in retail markets.

Bhavini also contributed to the FCA’s work with the Financial Stability Board (FSB) on international financial regulatory policy, with a focus on private markets. As a Lead Supervisor of credit rating agencies (CRAs), she worked closely with international regulators on the supervision of CRAs. Bhavini is an economist by training and holds a master’s degree in Financial Economics from Birkbeck, University of London.
