Yannick Jacquemart is a Specialist Partner in Flint’s Paris team, advising clients and leaders on energy policy, market design and the transformation of electricity systems.

Yannick is one of the most experienced figures in the French energy sector. He held a number of senior executive roles at RTE, the French electricity transmission system operator, most recently as Director of New Flexibilities. He previously served as European Affairs Deputy Director, R&D Director and Power System Economics Director, covering issues including European energy policy, system economics, innovation and the future of electricity networks.

Prior to RTE, Yannick spent two decades at EDF, where he worked on power system stability, led the department responsible for establishing electricity tariffs and competition rules during the opening of the electricity market, and managed the R&D Department for Optimization, Simulation, Risks and Statistics for Energy Markets.

Yannick brings deep expertise across both the technical and economic dimensions of energy systems, with extensive experience spanning energy policy, regulation, electricity markets, innovation and system transformation.
