Karla advises clients on competition, regulatory policy and economic issues across a range of sectors, including digital, energy, telecoms, and financial services. She is based in London.
Before joining Flint, Karla was an Economic Adviser at NHS Improvement (the UK healthcare regulator) and at the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority. At the CMA (and its predecessor, the Competition Commission) she advised on a range of competition cases, focusing on mergers and market investigations. Previously, Karla was an economist in the UK’s Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) where she worked on gas and electricity wholesale issues. Karla also worked at the telecommunications regulator and competition authority in Peru.
