Jorge advises clients on EU policy and regulatory developments in the digital and technology sectors. He is based in Brussels.

Before joining Flint, Jorge worked for the European Commission’s digital department (DG CNCT) with a focus on the implementation and enforcement of EU regulation on digital platforms, and on AI and IoT policy. He also led the assistance to the government of Ukraine towards its legislative and policy approximation to the EU telecommunications framework. Prior to this, he worked for a public affairs advisory firm, where he advised clients on data protection, transatlantic data transfers and telecoms policy. He started his career in the open standards and Internet policy community.

Jorge holds a bachelor’s degree in law and two master’s degrees in EU law and policies. He speaks Spanish and English.
