Rodney advises clients on a range of governance, regulatory policy and strategic business issues.

Previously he served as Head of Risk at Bupa Asia, and Head of Financial and Insurance Risk at Bupa International Markets – overseeing risk and governance for wholly owned businesses, M&A, JVs and strategic partnerships. Earlier roles include managing Operational Risk for Aspen (Re)Insurance’s alternative capital platform, and working as a Financial Services Consultant at Grant Thornton UK LLP.

Rodney is also the Founder & CEO of Rhodes Point Advisors, delivering private capital insurance solutions in Asia-Pacific. He advises on partnerships between third party capital (asset managers, hedge funds, family offices) and (re)insurers.

He is on the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) Hong Kong Committee, and contributor to industry publications such as AsianInvestor, Private Equity International, InsuranceERM, and Re(in)Asia.
