Patrícia advises clients on competition, regulation and policy issues across various sectors.
While at Flint, Patrícia has supported clients in developing strategic policy approaches and with modelling. She has built financial and economic models to inform clients’ decision-making and strengthen their submissions to Government, regulatory authorities, and appeal bodies.
Prior to joining Flint, Patrícia was a Research Officer at NERA Economic Consulting, where she provided economic advice to both regulators and companies. In particular, she worked on the analysis of several regulatory policy proposals and the quantification of damages in the context of litigation in international courts.
Patrícia was also the first to conduct an economic study covering the LGBT+ population in Portugal, measuring pay gaps between heterosexuals and homosexuals in the Portuguese labour market.
