Craig supports clients on complex financial and economic matters, in regulation and competition.

Drawing on three decades of experience in the utility infrastructure, communications and media sectors, Craig brings a balanced perspective, having held prominent roles with private sector organisations, regulators, competition authorities and as a strategic advisor. Much of his work has been on regulatory price controls and appeals across multiple jurisdictions.

Before joining Flint, Craig was Director of Strategy for Southern Water. Prior to that he was for six years Partner and Head of the Finance Practice area at Oxera, and his earlier roles include Ofcom Director of Competition Finance, and BT Director of Regulatory Finance and Economics. He began his career with LEK consulting in London and Los Angeles.

Craig has provided expert witness evidence on competition matters, notably in the Streetmap v Google case in the UK High Court. He has also been a member of the Competition and Market Authority’s (CMA) regulatory expert panel.
