Hari advises clients on all matters involving competition and antitrust policy, with a particular focus on the APAC region.
Hari completed a stint at the Supreme Court of Singapore as a Justices' Law Clerk right out of Law School. He then spent close to 10 years at the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS), leaving the organization as Director (Enforcement) and as CCCS Board Secretary. Between and after the above stints, Hari spent about 8 years in private practice, most of those leading the competition and antitrust teams - including 4 years at Baker McKenzie's Singapore office where he headed up the Antitrust and Competition Practice, with a remit covering South East Asia. Hari's practice involved acting for private sector clients on all aspects of antitrust and competition matters, both from the compliance and enforcement scenarios. Unlike most, Hari's practice also involved advising competition agencies such as the Malaysia Competition Commission and the Philippine Competition Commission on Antitrust and Competition Policy and Enforcement Strategies - work that he continues to undertake today.
Hari is now a highly-regarded consultant based in Singapore, working independently for a range of clients in both the private and public sectors and across various markets and industries
