Vlad advises clients on tax and fiscal policy across a range of sectors, helping them to navigate UK and international developments.
Before joining Flint, Vlad worked for PwC UK advising public and private sector clients on strategic economic and fiscal policy questions. This included leading cross-functional international teams across the UK, EU and Middle East on complex public policy reform and transformation projects.
Prior to that, Vlad spent 5 years at HM Treasury advising ministers on a range of business tax and fiscal policy issues. This included producing cross-cutting analysis and policy advice on the entire UK business tax system, and advising on the economic impacts of Brexit and the pandemic.
At the Treasury, Vlad also led on the design and delivery of the UK’s Freeports and Investment Zones tax packages, an integral part of the UK’s industrial strategy.
