Orla supports clients on digital and tech policy, political and regulatory issues in the UK, Europe and globally.

Prior to joining Flint,  Orla was a senior consultant at PwC UK, leading a team of digital specialists and lawyers to advise clients across the Tech, Financial Services, Pharma and Defence sectors, on digital and privacy policy and regulations.

Orla started her career at the UK privacy regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), before moving to the UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport as the Public Sector Lead for developing the UK's international data policy post-Brexit. Orla was closely engaged in data transfer negotiations at the G7, OECD and European Commission.

Orla was recognised by Legal500 for her work in Data Protection, Privacy, and Cybersecurity in 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Nottingham.
