Sem supports clients on policy issues in the Netherlands and Europe. 

Before joining Flint, Sem worked as a public affairs consultant at Considerati, advising clients on digital policy and regulation, with a particular focus on platform regulation, telecommunications, cloud, innovation policy and cybersecurity. Earlier in his career, he gained public affairs experience in other sectors, such as the sports and fast-moving consumer goods sectors. 

Sem holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Leiden University, and a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Erasmus University, where he specialised in International Relations and Business. Sem is fluent in Dutch and English.
