Tri Tran advises financial services clients in Vietnam on major transactions, business strategy and policy, political, and regulatory developments, including banking and risk management.

Prior to Flint, Tri Tran was COO who served in a country leadership role for Deutsche Bank AG, Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Vietnam, a branch of Deutsche Bank AG, Germany. Tri Tran co-chaired the branch's country management and oversaw the Bank’s infrastructure functions across all business lines, product groups, and legal entities in Vietnam. Tri Tran chaired several risk and operating committees and was also in charge of all aspects of the branch's governance including Assets & Liabilities, Capital increase, Cost control, Licensing, and Compliance with all local regulations.

During his International career, Tri Tran has lived and worked in Canada, Switzerland, Singapore, and Vietnam growing and transforming businesses in these markets. He has a long record in managing international banking business and more than 20 years of business development experience. Tri Tran has extensive experience engaging with regulators in Vietnam namely the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ministry of Finance, the VN State Security Commission.

He was a board member of DWS Vietnam Fund from 2016-2018 previously managed by Deutsche Bank.
