Meera advises clients on UK policy and politics. Meera was the Prime Minister’s adviser in the Number 10 Policy Unit from 2022-24, covering the Department for Transport and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

She has also been a Special Adviser to the Transport Secretary, leading on decarbonisation, aviation and motor policy as well as international moments such as COP26 and the G7 summit in Cornwall.

Prior to working in national government, Meera worked for the former Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, as his Senior Policy Adviser and then Chief of Staff where she led on transport, housing and skills policy, as well as preparation for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Meera has also held roles in Parliament and the Conservative Party.
