Katie advises clients on the management of complex policy, legislative and political issues.
Before joining Flint, Katie held senior policy and advisory roles in the UK Department of Trade, Cabinet Office and the Department for Levelling Up. She was in the leadership teams of the Covid-19 Taskforce, advising the British Cabinet at the height of the pandemic, the Northern Ireland Protocol Taskforce and Ukraine Humanitarian Taskforce.
Prior to joining the civil service Katie advised corporate leaders on reputation and communications at a global consulting firm.
Katie was a political Special Adviser in the UK coalition government, from 2010 to 2013, in the Business Department and then the Energy department. She advised on issues ranging from reform of higher education funding, employment law, corporate governance and electricity market reform. Katie has also worked in the UK and European Parliaments.
