Cecilio advises clients on anti-trust, competition policy and regulatory matters across a broad range of sectors.

Before joining Flint, Cecilio spent over 30 years in the European Commission's competition department, DG COMP, where he notably headed antitrust and mergers and eventually served as acting Director General before retiring from the Commission in 2020. During his time with DG COMP, Cecilio oversaw major initiatives that shaped the EU’s approach to competition and regulation, in particular in the tech, financial services and energy sectors.
