He joined Flint from the Department of Health and Social Care where he was a special adviser to Sajid Javid, whom he previously advised at the Treasury, Home Office and Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Across these departments James advised on a broad range of issues including life sciences, financial services, borders and immigration, and housing.
