François-Joseph advises clients on EU political and policy developments across a range of sectors.
Prior to joining Flint, he spent 10 years in the French diplomatic service as a political adviser to various Ambassadors.
From 2017 to 2021, he was the Head of the Political Department at the French Embassy in London, advising the Ambassador on EU affairs, Brexit, UK politics and EU-UK relations. He provided briefings on these issues to French ministers and senior government officials. Prior to his posting in London, he worked at the French Embassy in India leading France’s work ahead of the Paris climate change conference in 2015.
François-Joseph holds a Masters degree in political science from Sciences Po, Paris and a Masters degree in Asian studies from the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Studies, Paris.
