Flint Global is delighted to announce the appointment of Alison Gaskins as Chief Operating Officer and Alex Panayi as Chief Financial Officer, as the firm continues to invest in its leadership team following recent growth and new investment.
Alison Gaskins joins Flint in May as COO. She specialises in creating and leading internal capabilities and teams for professional services and corporate businesses. Alison joins from the global strategy consultancy Baringa, where she spent seven years as COO and led the internal services that supported the firm’s strategy and growth. Prior to this, Alison held a number of COO and Chief of Staff roles at Barclays, focusing on service delivery and commercial effectiveness, and began her career as a consultant at Accenture.
Alex Panayi will join Flint as Chief Financial Officer in July. Alex brings extensive experience from senior finance roles in global professional services firms, including ERM, the world’s leading environmental consultancy, and Prescient Healthcare Group. His expertise spans supporting international expansion, operational scaling and financial strategy in private equity-backed environments.
These appointments come at a significant moment for Flint. Following its recent acquisition by Cinven, the firm is investing in its people and platform to support its global growth.
James Purnell, CEO of Flint Global, said: “I am delighted to welcome Alison and Alex to Flint at such a pivotal moment for the firm. As we continue to grow following our partnership with Cinven, strengthening our operational and financial leadership is critical. Alison and Alex each bring deep experience of scaling complex, international businesses, and I am confident they will play a central role in delivering our next phase of growth.”
Alison Gaskins said: “What stands out about Flint is the combination of deep expertise and a genuinely collaborative culture. I’m excited to help build the internal capabilities and systems that will enable the firm to scale effectively, while preserving what makes it distinctive. There is a real opportunity to support teams across the business to deliver even greater impact for clients.”
Alex Panayi added: “Flint has strong momentum and a clear growth trajectory, underpinned by high-quality work and long-term client relationships. I’m looking forward to strengthening the firm’s financial foundations and supporting disciplined, sustainable growth as we continue to invest in the business.”
As Flint continues to grow, these senior appointments will play a key role in ensuring the firm is well positioned to scale sustainably, deepen its expertise, and deliver even greater impact for clients.
