Flint has taken a significant step in expanding our European offer, opening a new permanent office in Paris headed by Partner Anne-Juliette Rohrbach. Our Flint France team across the company has experience working at the most senior levels in the French government, parliament, regulatory agencies, and the private sector. They support clients on commercial, political and regulatory issues in France, offering an authoritative perspective where business and government meet.

Anne-Juliette has 15 years’ experience in regulatory and policy advisory work in France. She has particular expertise in heavily regulated sectors, such as mobility, healthcare, cosmetics and fisheries.

In Paris we:

  • advise on the political approaches of the French government and on business-critical policy issues
  • support clients on high-profile French and European regulatory and policy initiatives, transactions, and on strategic communications
  • serve clients from across the globe in many sectors, including digital, tech, telecoms, media, financial services, life sciences, manufacturing, retail, transport and energy.

Thomas Barros-Tastets, Partner and COO for continental Europe. Thomas is a regulatory and strategic communication expert with over 20 years’ experience.  He has advised multinational companies and governments on campaigns and regulatory engagement in France and Europe and has extensive experience in trade dispute cases & antitrust proceedings.

Benoît Roussel, Partner. Benoît is a policy and regulatory strategist, with a focus on EU digital, antitrust and health policy. In the digital sector, he has led high-stakes public affairs campaigns for a broad range of multinational companies on issues ranging from competition policy and antitrust investigations to platform liability, data privacy / GDPR, intellectual property and industrial policy and digital taxation. In the healthcare sector, he has advised multiple biotech companies on their market access issues across European countries, with a focus on political and stakeholder engagement and corporate communications.

Philip Cordery, Senior adviser. Philip has served as a member of the French Parliament where he was the spokesperson for European affairs and worked on EU institutional issues, health policy and Brexit. He has been active in negotiations between the French government and European authorities.

François-Joseph Schichan, Director. François-Joseph advises clients on EU political and policy developments across a range of sectors. Prior to joining Flint, he spent 10 years in the French diplomatic service as a political adviser to various Ambassadors. From 2017 to 2021, he was the Head of the Political Department at the French Embassy in London, advising the Ambassador on EU affairs, Brexit, UK politics and EU-UK relations

Thomas Grandjouan, Manager. Thomas advises clients on EU political and policy developments across a range of sectors, with a focus on technology, cybersecurity and competition. Before joining Flint, Thomas directed the advocacy activities of a European NGO specialised in cybersecurity where he developed recommendations for the EU institutions on how to tackle disinformation, and chaired a working group of 60 civil society organisations dedicated to EU digital policies

Clémence Maulat, Consultant. Clémence has hands-on experience in regulation, political issues and policy analysis. Before joining Flint, she worked in the European Parliament as an assistant to a French MEP. She has worked on critical EU issues, including the European budget and the next Multi-annual Financial Framework.

Julia Jouvençon, Consultant. Julia supports clients on EU political issues and policy analysis across a range of sectors. Before joining Flint, she worked as Research Executive in a Brussels consultancy, with a focus on energy and climate matters. She also assisted a French MEP in the European Parliament.

Corentin Lescroart, Consultant. Corentin advises clients on EU political, policy and regulatory developments on climate, energy and transport issues, in France and the EU. Prior to joining Flint, Corentin worked for the aviation industry and for the European Commission on aviation and sustainability policies.

Alexandra Ponsardin, Consultant.Alexandra supports clients on EU political issues and policy analysis across a range of sectors. Prior to joining Flint, Alexandra worked in Brussels for the French Chambers of Commerce and Industry on EU public affairs, where she focused on Industry, Digital and Innovation policies.
