This January sees some important and exciting developments for Flint.
Flint opens in Asia-Pacific
Following the expansion of our senior team in Brussels and the opening of our Paris office last September, this month we are establishing a Flint presence in Asia-Pacific, incorporated in both Singapore and Hong Kong.
Our Asia-Pacific work is led by Mark Austen, who has joined Flint as a partner. Before joining Flint, Mark was CEO of ASIFMA, the leading financial services trade association in Asia, which during his tenure enjoyed a five-fold expansion in terms of revenue, staff and membership. Mark has been based in Asia for more than 10 years and has an extensive network in the region and deep experience in financial services and technology. Previously, Mark was based in London and was COO of AFME, ASIFMA’s sister organisation in Europe. You can find out more about our Asia-Pacific offer here: We aim to serve corporates and investors operating in the region as well as those operating or looking to operate in European markets. We will develop and broaden this offer over time, in close coordination with our teams in Europe.
Flint to open in Ireland
A heads-up also that Flint will very shortly open an office in Dublin, led by Liam Cullen. More news will follow in the coming days.
Combined with the appointment of our new Chair, Sir Ian Powell, these developments mark an exciting start to 2023 for Flint, strengthening our senior leadership and extending our reach and client service to important new markets.
