Tom advises clients on policy and political developments across a range of sectors.
Prior to Flint, Tom was the Business, Economy and Skills advisor in 10 Downing Street delivering a range of policies to support business through the pandemic and leading on regulatory reform in competition, procurement and corporate governance. Tom also oversaw science and technology policy in Number 10 including developments in the space sector.
Tom was previously part of the UK negotiating team for the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement and the renegotiation of the Northern Ireland Protocol prior to that.
Before working in Number 10, Tom spent six years working at HM Treasury in a variety of roles and worked at the UK Representation to the EU in Brussels.
