Katie advises businesses on competition and regulatory policy matters in the UK and EU, including merger control, competition law investigations, market studies and regulatory reviews. Katie also provides independent economic expert advice in litigation settings, including preparing expert witness reports and giving oral evidence. Katie works across a broad range of sectors, recently including sports, consumer, digital, telecoms and financial services.
Prior to joining Flint, Katie was an Economics Director at Ofcom. Whilst there, she was responsible for the economic analysis across a wide range of policy areas including market reviews, Competition Act investigations, consumer policy interventions and mobile spectrum awards. She acted as an expert witness for Ofcom, including giving evidence in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.
Before Ofcom, Katie held positions at the Office of Fair Trading and Competition Commission (now both part of the Competition and Markets Authority). Katie also has significant prior experience advising private sector clients on antitrust and regulatory matters.
