Josh Crine

Consultant

Josh is part of the Policy and Political Analysis practice based in London and works on issues relating to the digital economy, technology and the UK Labour Party. 

Prior to Flint, Josh worked on international tech policy in the fields of digital infrastructure, digital technical standards and digital markets at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS). He was part of negotiations at the UK’s G7 Presidency in 2021 and produced sessions at the UK’s global digital summit, the Future Tech Forum, between governments and businesses that year. He subsequently worked on the Digital Markets Bill, where he focussed on analysing the UK and EU regulatory regimes.  

He joins Flint after a spell in a Middle Eastern newsroom, and has previous experience on an MP’s election campaign, in the private office of the Archbishop of Canterbury and at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. 

He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Warwick.
