James provides advice to clients with an interest in energy and climate issues. He is based in London.
Prior to Flint, James led the energy and climate team at the CBI, positioning the organisation as an influential voice on net-zero emissions policy and supporting businesses with their low-carbon investment plans. He has worked directly with a wide range of companies, including EDF Energy where he was part of the public affairs and media relations team supporting their new nuclear projects, and their existing nuclear, renewable and thermal power generation sites. James has also worked with automotive companies in the sector’s trade association, the SMMT, where he managed government affairs relating to Brexit and low-emission vehicles. James began his career working in Parliament and several public affairs consultancies.
