Ian Wright advises clients in the food and drink and consumer goods sectors.
He is an experienced business leader, having held senior management positions in major global companies and was Chief Executive of the Food & Drink Federation and the primary representative and spokesperson for the UK’s largest manufacturing industry from 2015-2021. In that role he led over a FDF’s 1000+ member companies in navigating Brexit, Covid19 and the subsequent acute labour and supply chain shortages that struck the industry.
Previously he was Communications Director of Boots The Chemist and Corporate Relations Director of Diageo plc from 2000-2014.
He is currently Co- Chair of The Food & Drink Sector Council, the Government’s principal policy advisory body. He was appointed a CBE for political and public service in 2015.
