Before Flint, he worked in freight, commodity trading and derivatives markets, with an international client base on market, trading and regulatory issues. This most recently included carbon emissions markets and the proposed introduction of shipping into the EU ETS.
He has held several local and regional positions within the Liberal Democrats.
