- Supporting leaders to think in an integrated way about policy and commercial challenges, and engage effectively with government leaders.
- Enabling corporate affairs functions to gain traction with business leaders and work effectively within complex company structures.
- Building organisational resilience to deal with new challenges, especially in response to rapidly moving political events.
- Facilitating work on complex strategy and organisational issues and helping companies develop a single voice across different silos.
- Supporting companies in recruiting executives.
- Helping a financial services business review its governance arrangements and interactions with a key shareholder group to meet future regulatory requirements. The result is a position which commands the confidence of the shareholders, the company and the regulator.
- Giving leadership support and coaching to a senior client stepping up to a challenging new public leadership position. We helped define the major challenges and a set of strategies to meet them.
- Working with the Board and Executive Team of an infrastructure authority to chart the next stage of their development. This helped the authority move quickly into a leadership role in its sector.
Leadership and organisational change team
Andrew joined Flint in September 2017 to build our Leadership and Organisational Change practice. He works with clients across a range of sectors. He brings 30 years’ experience at senior levels in government, the EU and the private sector.
Previously Andrew was a Director at Stanton Marris and a Partner at Towers Perrin/Kinsley Lord. He started his career in the UK Civil Service, where he worked for two Home Secretaries and in Margaret Thatcher’s office.
Sir Simon Fraser is a founder and Managing Partner of Flint. He supports clients managing complex European and international policy issues. Simon leads our teams helping clients respond to the challenges of Brexit. He is a respected policy commentator and adviser of senior corporate leaders.
From 2010 to 2015 Simon was the Head of the UK Foreign Office and Diplomatic Service. He has also led the UK Department for Business. Prior to that he was Chief of Staff to the European Trade Commissioner in Brussels, and Director General for European Policy at the Foreign Office. Simon is Deputy Chairman of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) and is a Visiting Professor at King’s College London.
Based in Brussels, Gregor oversees Flint’s European network. He provides strategic regulatory and organisational advice to companies in sectors including energy, tech, financial services and manufacturing.
As a senior adviser and media spokesman for two European Commissioners, Gregor dealt with major regulatory initiatives and challenges for industry, trade negotiations and agriculture policy reform. After leaving the Commission, Gregor ran a leading Brussels policy consultancy.
Kiran joined Flint in November 2015. She is part of the core team that provides Brexit analysis and advice for clients. She also supports clients dealing with challenges in policy, regulation and organisational change in the UK and EU in the financial services, life sciences and manufacturing sectors.
Previously Kiran worked in the UK Parliament, with European parliamentarians and has consulted for energy company Hess and Barclays' investment team in New York.
Olivia joined Flint in January 2017 as a personal assistant to the Managing Partners. In her expanded role as Executive Assistant/Researcher she supports client teams working in the media and telecoms and financial services sectors, with a focus on political and regulatory issues.
Olivia has previously worked in Australian and UK-based think tanks, focusing on industrial relations issues and organising policy events. She is fluent in French and speaks German and Hungarian.
